Artifex, LLC is a custom home construction, remodeling and development firm that is active in the Atlanta metro area, and exclusively the west Georgia area. Artifex, LLC is owned and operated by Blake Wilson. Blake is licensed as a General Contractor in both Georgia and Alabama.
Artifex, LLC specializes in custom services, providing pre-construction and construction services. For the client, this means a broad band of help in budgeting, design development, and problem solving during the critical early stages of planning; and careful management of the job during the construction period. The company undertakes a broad spectrum of projects, from new construction and remodeling to smaller home construction and remodeling projects, to large custom home construction; from institutional and small commercial construction to multi-family construction and remodeling; and finally from land development to subdivision engineering. Residential construction includes custom design & construction documents/drawings, reproductions of historic houses, adaptations of period and geographic styles, copies of American & European classics, and modern adaptations of traditional styles, contemporary designs, and antique/ rustic cabin; post and beam construction. Residential remodeling services range from enhancing exterior architectural detail to “whole house” rehabilitation, including roof raising and house “moving.” Commercial & Institutional services include, custom design & construction documents/drawings, project management, restoration of facilities to meet current code standards, complete demolition & interior build-outs of existing spaces, building additions, and building/ facility maintenance, to complete large scale commercial construction with a specialization in pre engineered metal buildings.
In all the custom services provided, Artifex, LLC works closely with the owner, creating a “turn-key” package of project management & construction services, to ensure complete satisfaction. Our experience clearly makes a difference. Artifex, LLC, is completely insured & bonded, pre-qualifies subcontractors, constantly reviews construction methods & current code requirements for quality control and offers ongoing advice for cost savings. Artifex, LLC is a partnership with 20 years of experience and continue to grow each year. We are OSHA certified and a Georgia Drug Free workplace. We carry Workers Compensation Insurance, and Liability Insurance. Artifex is a long time member of the National Home Builders Association.
